Spastic Cerebral Palsy

Incidence of Spastic cerebral palsy is more common than the other types of CP. 50% of those identified as having CP belong to this category. It is characterized by the restriction in the movement of limbs and occurs usually as a consequence of damage to the cerebral cortex. The word spastic means “stiffness in the muscles”. The muscles become taut and very rigid making the simplest of movements difficult and jerky. Grasping a particular object or releasing it and changing positions are tasks that require great effort. Because the muscles are tight and not amenable to easy movement, they cannot be stretched easily and awkward movements result. Whenever normal muscles work, one-group contracts and the other group relaxes and hence easy movement is achieved. Spastic muscles are in a state of war and constantly contract at the same time. To overcome the resistance, the patient has got to make a tremendous effort. Free movement is thus hindered.

Role of Noni

Noni may help sometimes in regeneration of those partly damaged neuron by its immune modulating property. Noni is acting very well in cerebral palsy cases which is a condition caused by a defect or injury to the brain that occurs at birth. The natural integrity of Noni is only part of the reason for its effectiveness. There are two additional reasons contributing to Noni’s effectiveness for a broad range of conditions.

  •  Unique Combinations of Substances
  •  Synergy of its Substances

How NONI works?

Dr. Ralph Heinicke, a noted American biochemist, had a potentially ground-breaking revelation while studying pineapple enzymes. He realized that a certain alkaloid he called Xeronine plays a key role in encouraging proper cell function and growth in human body.  Xeronine is formed in the large intestine, where a chemical reaction occurs between Proxeronine and Proxeronase. Dr. Heinicke realized that these two substances exist in abundance in the Noni fruit. While Proxeronine and Proxeronaise are generally regarded as the key effective ingredients in Noni, there are actually dozens of other neutraceuticals (natural properties) found in Noni fruit. In Spastic cerebral palsy it may help if continued for a longer period.
