Fatigue and weakness

Weakness and fatigue are often considered similar, but in medicine they have distinct and separate meanings. Weakness refers to lack of strength. Weakness is usually the more serious condition and is particularly important when it is confined to one area of body. Such weakness in one area is often due to a problem in muscular or nervous system, such as a stroke.

Fatigue is lack of energy. It is tiredness or lethargy. Fatigue is typically associated with a viral infection or with feelings of anxiety, depression or tension. It's caused by a large variety of illnesses. Hypoglycemia means "low blood sugar," and many patients fear that this problem is the cause of their tiredness. A few individuals do in fact feel shaky several hours after a meal because their blood sugar level drops at that point. However, they do not feel fatigued. Low blood sugar throughout the day can cause fatigue, but this is a rare condition.

Chronic fatigue is common; about one in every four adults seen in doctors' offices say it is one of their problems. But chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is unusual; perhaps only one in a thousand of adults complains of chronic fatigue.

Causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  •  Chronic Viral Infections
  •  Immune Response to Infections
  •  Infection and Inflammation
  •  Role of the Endocrine System in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  •  Chemical Sensitivity
  •  Oxidative Stress
  •  Side Effects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are as yet undetermined, but studies showed that multiple nutrient deficiencies, food intolerance or extreme physical or mental stress may trigger chronic fatigue. Studies also indicated that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome may be activated by the immune system, various abnormalities of the hypothalamic-pituitary axes, or by reactivation of certain infectious agents in the body. Some Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients had low levels of PBMC beta-endorphin and other neurotransmitters. Thyroid deficiency may also be a contributing factor in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (refer to the Thyroid Deficiency protocol to find out how to determine if you are deficient in thyroid hormone production). A number of triggers that may cause or exacerbate Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are discussed below.

Oxidative Stress : Studies showed that oxidative stress played a role in the development of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Oxidative stress is a term used to describe the body's prolonged exposure to oxidative factors that cause more free radicals than body can neutralize. Free radicals are produced as a byproduct of normal metabolic functions. When there are enough free radical scavengers present, such as glutathione and vitamins C, E, and A, along with zinc and other nutrients, through normal metabolic functioning, the body will "mop up" or neutralize the free radicals. When free radicals are not neutralized, the body can become vulnerable to cellular destruction.

Role of Noni

Multiple nutrients deficiency is one major cause of weakness and chronic fatigue syndrome. The diets we are taking daily are deprived of many essential nutrients, which effect on our physical and mental aspects. Noni is a natural, cellular food. It contains all vitamins like Vit A , Vit C, Vit E, Vit B complex, and all trace minerals, 17 amino acids out of 20 including all essential amino acids, besides that it contains 150 and above essential phytochemicals that we do not get in our daily diet. It also contains carbohydrates, proteins and all essential fatty acids. Noni is a natural nutritional supplement. Hence it helps to provide all the essential nutrients to our body and relieves the weakness syndromes

Nitric oxide (NO) is the key molecule used by human body to transport oxygen, to increase blood flow and deliver nutrients to skeletal muscles. This process is called “haemodilation”. Noni helps to produce more NO in our body. By increasing NO production, Noni increases our maximum contractile velocity in all muscle types. The results are immediate and consequential, and include increasing our lead capacity, boosting our power input and quickening our muscles contraction. When haemodilatation is accelerated, and the best of all sustained and you will start to see amazing things happening to human body.

Nutrition plays a greater role in stress management. Along with other nutrients, Noni is a key element in combating stress. NONI juice rejuvenates cells of the body, in addition to vital organs and glands. This rejuvenation is mainly due to a substance called xeronine.

NONI Juice relieves cellular stress - Our autonomic bodily functions, systems and organs expect to have necessary neutraceuticals, including, but not limited to vitamins, minerals, proteins, proper dietary and plant nutrition, absolutely mandatory for continuing peak performance. When these organs and systems do not get exactly what they need, they go into a state of degeneration, followed by debilitating subtle stress. Sick stressed out cells find relief with Noni juice. The unlimited essential nutraceuticals present in Noni get inside the sick stressed cell and repair it.

Noni helps in relieving the mental stress - Although the cause of depression varies greatly from one person to another, most people with depression have something in common: low levels of neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin, also called 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), is the brain's `happy chemical.' Serotonin is often referred to as the body's natural mood-altering drug and changes in serotonin levels can quickly alter mood. If serotonin levels drop to low levels, depression is almost sure to follow. It is manufactured in human body using amino acid tryptophan. When tryptophan is readily available, the body can use it if needed to increase serotonin levels. Manufactured by the body, it is found along with its receptor sites in the brain, blood platelets, and lining of the digestive tract. It is also a precursor to a hormone called melatonin, which plays multiple life - giving roles in the body, including regulating biological rhythms. The pineal body present in human brain plays an important role in secretion of serotonin and melatonin. NONI, a safe Way to Increase Serotonin, relieves the mental stress and fatigue syndrome.

Oxidative stress also plays a major role in physical fatigue due to the damaging effects of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). NONI juice is extremely high in antioxidants and it has a most important anti-oxidant quality in the body. Anti-oxidants help to prevent destruction of cells from excessive oxidation, super oxides and free radicals: Oxidation of cells is caused by (among other things) stress. When the immune system is in overdrive from stress, then there is an overproduction of internal steroids and hormones that cause a snowball reaction of more stress. Result of this process is that instead of being body's defense against disease, the immune system becomes body's adversary. Poor nutrition, coupled with high levels of stress for long periods of time, is definitely a cause for illness. When we are under stress, our body releases the stress hormone cortisol, corticosteroids and other internals steroids. These hormones then cause the proinflammatory immune factor (IL-6) to be excreted. IL-6 exacerbates auto immune conditions. The powerful inflammatory immune factor also pulls calcium from the bones into arteries, thus causing arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis, as well as osteoporosis. It also destroys the individuals' vitamin K. Noni Juice, the miracle plant from paradise, has over 150 phytonutraceuticals, including calcium. In addition, as an adaptogens, Noni Juice allows the body's biochemistry to react more positively to the hormones and other substances released during a stress response.
