Wellness is Oneness

Health is much more than the absence of disease. It’s a dynamic, positive, evolving, organic feeling that includes the mind, body and spirit. It is a delicate, harmonious balance between the organs of the body, the fluctuations of the mind and the feedback of the spirit. It is a subtle biorhythm played to the senses, in tune with our daily choices. Thus, a headache or a fever is a warning. But this disturbance is only seen and recognized as a physical symptom-the mental and spiritual aspects are completely ignored. Which, not surprisingly, adds to the complexity of the illness.

Our body has been neticulously designed from cell to cell. While these cells are born to work and live in harmony, our body as a whole chooses its functions. We do- the mind does, or the spirit dictates. In essence, physically we are what we eat (and how we exercise, stay fit, or remain active); mentally we are what we think; and spiritually we are all ONE. Balanced together, this is the complete experience of health.

Health is understood today only as byproduct of illness, sickness, disease, pain, stress and suffering. A payoff bought from multicoloured tablets, unpronounceable prescriptions, and innumerable visits to specialists. Health is also associated only with the young- or the very young. Middle age seems to automatically invite diseases of varied hues and colours. For those who are more “conscious”, more tuned in, to the body rhythm, the instinctive response has been to limber up. To stay fit, exercise, jog or go in for aerobics. Fitness is thus associated with health, along with regular check ups and preventive treatments. This method leads to disharmony, disease and disturbance which is ILLNESS.

Basic Themes :

  • The natural state of our body is health, not illness.
  • The capacity to spontaneously heal, which lies within every cell of our body, is the expression of health.
  • It is our dietary and lifestyle factors that cause disease and illness.
  • Prevention by knowing the cause is the first step towards experiencing true health.
  • Health supporting lifestyle practices include right food, fresh air, sunshine, activity and mental poise.
  • It has established that food is the most fundamental input in creating a balance towards true health.
  • Right food is that which is genetically most suited to the human body. This means wholesome, natural and palatable food which is easy and quick to digest, leaves no acid toxicity and is able to provide all known and unknown nutrients.
  • These are our fuels or the vital energy that the body uses constantly to function smoothly and keep up healthy.
  • Daily living habits can play the single most important role in balancing our own health with that of the environment.
  • Our cuisine essentially should be designed to package the pure principles of nutrition within an acceptable degree of dilution to accommodate the taste buds, the cooked food culture and common social practices and individual cuisine culturing.

Basic Theorems :

  • The body is a self-healing machine, which always strives to remain healthy.
  • One of the chief characteristics of a healthy body is alkalinity. The ideal ph level of the human body is 7.45(water has ph of 7).
  • All body chemistry at the cellular and the organic level releases acidic toxins as end products or ‘garbage’. These need to be eliminated or recycled to keep the body alkaline and ‘clean’.
  • All these chemistry requires energy. When energy is lacking, elimination is hampered, acid toxins build up, and the body becomes ‘sick’. Diseases are processes set up by the body to clear toxicity – from common cold to a tumor.
  • A major determinant of energy balance and toxicity is nutrition, including food.
  • All species have a ‘technologically suitable food choice’- food that is easy for that species to metabolize. For humans it is fruits, raw vegetables, nuts and sprouts. They require minimum energy for metabolism, and alkaline residue.
  • Other foods place a load on the energy balance of the body and leave an acid residue. They have hence to be balanced by the intake of fruits, raw vegetables, nuts and sprouts.
  • Administering an exclusive diet of fruits, raw vegetables, nuts and sprouts in keeping with the metabolic rhythm of the body, cause diseases symptoms to reverse even in the case of so called incurable diseases. Even a diet partially adhering to these principles causes the body to return to health.
  • Toxicity is not the nature of an organism, society or the planet. Toxicity at all levels indicates insufficient processing or elimination of toxic residues that are part of any natural organic process. Unnaturally high levels of toxic precipitation indicate that choices are being made in violation of natural principles.
